A couple of months ago, I wrote about Rickshaw Designs and lamented the fact that the super cute baby tunics didn’t come in grownup sizes. Well…. I just peeked at the blog this morning and saw that my kurta dream has come true!

Lilacs are in bloom this time of year and I have to say – it’s one of my favorite floral scents.
While lavender isn’t my favorite color, I make an exception for this heavenly bloom. Someday, I think I need a lilac bush of my own.

I was looking through Palmer Weiss’ portfolio and I must say, I just love the way she brightens a room with color:
I especially appreciate how her spaces are so livable. Many lovely rooms don’t exactly scream “comfortable” – but I would happily curl up with a book on any of those couches and chairs.
Earlier this month, Susan from Shandell’s added some gorgeous lamps to her Etsy shop. She made shades with the hand made paper of artist, Dana Curtis and paired them with vintage lamps.
I love how unique lamps bring personality to a room. It’s so easy to find something neutral to “go with” the existing furnishings. But why can’t lamps be used as art?
It should come as no surprise that this one is my favorite.
