I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to post this, but Chris was out of town when they arrived. Then, as you know (if you’ve been reading), it’s been a rough couple of weeks.
But the day has finally arrived – the Womily Touch cuff links are here!
And they are so cool. Chris was thrilled.
If you read the “how to” post, you will remember that due to challenging conditions (i.e. having children), we were unable to get both twins to cooperate at the same time. So only Eleanor’s fingerprints were used for the links.
Here is an action shot (or what a cuff link considers “action”).
And just because I’m at artist at heart (with limited photography skills), Here are some additional images with an edgy sidewalk chalk backdrop:

The links came with the suede pouch featured above (they are all about presentation at Womily). But did I mention before that engraving is included? We chose “Eleanor Hood, 2 years old.”
Here is a better shot of that:
While I’m here – I may as well throw in a few more visuals of the Hoods.
This is a picture of my daughter with a pig kite.

Seriously – why a pig?
This is a picture of Oliver playing out back with the hose.

Notice how he’s pressed up against the sliding glass door – we were afraid to go outside.
This is a picture of what George likes to call “R2 – time for nap!”

Those are so cool! What a neat idea.
I’m glad to see that R2 gets a teddy bear to sleep with. George is very considerate of his droids!
love love love those cuff links.
Neat cufflinks! Way to follow through. I would not have gotten this to the final stage! A suit to work? We’re totally casual here now. I liked it when T wore a suit.
What fabulous cuff links. I didn’t realize Chris had to wear a suit every day – ugh. But at least now he has some pizazz on his sleeves!
Super cute kid and robot photos, per usual.
THose were so clever!! I love them.
LOVE the links. What a great idea!!
And the picture of Oliver playing with the hose is especially priceless. :)
Love the cuff links. Adorable.
Your kids are absolutely adorable Kate. I love E’s hair.
Those cuff links are great!
And your kids are A- dorable!!!
I’ve seen those before but I can’t remember where… so glad that you posted this! What a wonderful gift!
Great pix too. The kids are ADORABLE!
love the cuff links!
could that be a cuter picture of her with the pig kite and R2??? i am LOL so hard right how at that!
Cool cuff links. My husband would totally dig those.
Love those cufflinks! What a great idea…
And your kids are so cutie!
hey kate-these are really cool. i´m going to check them out. have a great week! hugs-jane
I love those cuff links! Something about the way they are pictured in the second photo though makes it look like there is an orange frog with silver eyes swimming down the sidewalk. Is Eleanor’s pig kite in honor of swine flu?
COOL! It took me a second to realize what those links really were, and once I ‘got it” I got teary eyed. What a fabulous idea and a precious keepsake! I don’t know whether to be in awe of the creative idea or jealous that you have them and I don’t! Honestly, whomever thought of that idea is a genius.
I love it that R2 has to take a nap. It’s an indication of how much George loves him that he gets the softest blankets.
Those are incredible. What a great idea. I love the matted silver that is my favorite kind.
The cuff links are a really cool idea. And I love the pictures of the kids. Too cute: )
I love the cuff links! And great pictures of the kids….R2 sleeping is so cute!
Kate,
The cuff links are awesome!! It was worth the wait to see them. :-)
Your photography skills are much better than mine and I’m taking a photography course which is much harder than I imagined!!
I’ve been missing in the blog world of late. Just saw the 2 new blogs you wrote about. I linked up to Wishing True and to Chris’ cooking blog.
Much love from NJ,
Sue

The cufflinks are very cool. I will wear them next time I wear a french cuffed shirt. And as far as the pig kite with E- you know that was at Ribstravaganza this weekend. We went to an all pork product BBQ. I dont think Kate ate much…
The cuff links turned out really well. I’d love to get them for my husband’s birthday too.
And the pictures…so cute!
I remember kites! Those were the best on a day at the beach…
You are making your kids some fabulous memories, darlin!
What a neat idea, and a great gift.
aww, how cute is that!!
btw, love your blog header!
xox
Those cuff links are seriously cool. My husb never wears cuff links, but I would so get those if he did.
I love these cuff links. It’s such a brilliant idea!
Ummm…and R2 taking a nap…that is so something my kids would do…I love it!
Your kids are so sweet.
