Conversation with Eleanor and George on the way up to bed the other night:
Eleanor: Mommy, I’m hungry.
Me: But you just had dinner.
Eleanor: Mommy, I’M HUNGRY.
Me: Eleanor, that’s not possible.
George: Popsicles?

Hahaha!! Love it…my 3 year old always has the same exact question if I tell her we're going to a party: "Will there be cake?" ;)
Hahaha! That sounds just like Connie's kids!
That is hilarious!
LOL! My children are the same way. Every damn night.
But did they *eat* dinner? That's our dilemma.
I'm sure my daughter will be the same when, once she can talk. Right now, I'm the one wanting dessert every single night. Sigh.
popsicles are gooooooooood!
Always room for popsicles. Good George :)))
Eleanor sounds like Steve!
Yes, but my kids want ice cream at all hours of the night. And Apple Bars (granola bars) at 1:36am.
Haha… so cute!
Are popsicles even food? I think of that more as a fruit drink. Yup. And my daughter just told me yesterday that she doesn't even like the sweet food served at birthday parties. Huh? I don't understand how she shares my genetic structure, since my goal on my honeymoon was to have dessert at every single meal, even breakfast (I did not, alas, reach my goal.)
Funny story about the popsicles. My son loves popsicles. Your husband, Chris mentioned your site, so I joined.
I'm trying to be a daddy blogger, so please check out my site and follow.

Go to Bed Bath and Beyond and get your own popsicle holders. The ones there have a straw at the bottom to get the juice!
They're growing! I don't know how we adults can explain away our preoccupation with food… but the kids have a built in excuse for a looong time.
Ah, George. A man after my own heart.
Ah, a man after my own heart. Too funny!
Ha! They start young, don't they!
Too cute.
They share my preoccupation with food too.
hahaha! Awesome. Chris and I have conversations like this at times and it always leaves me scratching my head.
Too cute! I could hang with those kids.
oh my god – that is hilarious. so cute!
Haha. Sounds like me most nights. I get into bed and complain to hubby I'm hungry.
Love it!!
