One of the many reasons why girls in the 80s had eating disorders…

Seriously? Are we going there again? Because if it didn’t work for me when I was 16, it sure isn’t going to now…

I'm with you sista…it just isn't happening! And really, is it that great of a fashion accessory even if you have skinny / long legs?

I was one of those girls from the 80's with an eating disorder. I hope it does not happen again the the girls of this century.

Oh my. These scream Blanche Devaroe. I had stirrup pants in the 80s and I couldn't even think about squeezing back in those now, regardless of whether or not they fit. Good gracious, the (dis)comfort level alone makes me cringe!

Oh no! I watched an 80s movie last night (The Running Man — can you believe that movie spawned 2 state governors?!?), and the actresses made me feel so much better about my body compared to the anorexics of today. I resolved to watch only 80s entertainment from this point on. But if lots of girls had eating disorders in the 80s too, I guess what's the point?

    And now I need cake.

Ok, not to be play devil's advocate but I kinda dig them. But only as hosiery, not as pants! A dress or tunic is definitely necessary!
