We Won’t Be Sending Out A Holiday Card This Year Because…

Sigh. Maybe next year.

*Items of note:

While fully cooperative in saying “cheese” for most shots, Oliver wanted to look at himself in the dark window to my right – not into the camera.

Eleanor was just a little too enthusiastic about the activity and was hard pressed to “keep her hands in her lap for mommy.”

In that second to last picture, George is in fact saying “watcha talkin’ bout Willis?”

That white stuff that you see in their mouths are altoids. I said it was candy and used them as bribes to get everyone to stay seated.

These are the best pictures out of the 100 that I took.

    LOL funny!

Where have you been hiding those cuties?!?! You don’t post nearly enough pictures of them. They are f*ing adorable!

I don’t know, I think the one where she is saying ‘ta da’ and the boys are smiling in the wrong directions is perfect. They are adorable!

I think they look adorable too! And it might be nice to send out a card of them looking crazy instead of just smiling into the camera! I for one would love to receive that card. :-)

I think that your 3 kids are the cutest I’ve seen. That includes family – that my family is pretty cute. I agree with anymommy, that pic where she’s showing her jazz hands is awesome. I L’ed O L. Even though they won’t arrive on time, I’d still send those out and say Happy New Year or somethingl

Ugh. I just read my comment. It doesn’t make any sense. Here is what was trying to say:

That includes family – and that’s saying something because my family is pretty cute.

    There.

god, i love them! we need to teach you photoshop – since each of your children looks like a magazine cover model in at least one of the photos (eleanor does in several – love all that personality). next year, we want the christmas card!

those are the best photos ever! I love them. You really do need to send them out as they so represent where your kids are in their lives right now.

My favorite cards are the ones that come without perfectly posed kiddos.

    Adorable!

So you won’t be sending out cards because your kids are cuter than everyone else’s? That’s the only reason I can imagine. Those photos are adorable.

one word for you – photoshop.

Seriously, I photoshopped our xmas card a few years ago and it looked like the kids were looking at the camera and smiling.

Adorable!! They look so festive in their cute sweaters and dress. I love Christmas kid photos. There is always something that doesn’t go the way you want it to go and it fits somehow. It’s a Christmas classic.

    Merry Christmas, Kate!

When did they grow up so much? These pictures are great! Miss Eleanor looks ready for the red carpet. Love that hairdo! Christmas morning will be such a treat. Love to you all.

hahaha. I like the ones where the bow on the tree lines up with Eleanor’s head and it looks like she’s wearing a giant bow.

You need a professional child wrangler for these things. I have one but she is such a freakin poser, in front of a camera she will do anything I say.

They are so cute, and I love how she is so animated while the little guys play it cool! I linked to your tree Nazi post on my blog! You crack me up!

One year I sent out pictures of one looking away and the other one crying on Santa’s lap. Just to give people a taste of my real life. Everyone thought it was the most hysterical thing ever.

I’m telling everyone this year that I’m not sending out cards to be more eco-friendly. In fact, I’m just too lazy and cheap. :)

I think you could have used any one of those pictures – they are all adorable! I actually think the best cards are those where the kids are acting “naturally”… ;-)
