I’m Not Sure What’s Worse…

…that I let them do this…

…that I took pictures of it…

…or that I think they’re total geniuses for coming up with it.

Best mom ever.

Don’t forget to check out my new style/design blog project: Style Key West!

That's one of those things where I'm totally bummed to be a grown up. That slide would be way to small for me.

That's great! Doesn't look TOTALLY unsafe, Mom. Looks like the angle and length of the table would have prevented a high speed accident. Adorable!

That is awesome! I would have left them alone to play with their invention, too. They seem to actually be sharing, not causing physical harm to one another and it's a relatively mild activity. And it did give you a couple peaceful minutes, right? that makes it all worth it. =]

Love these pictures! I agree they are little geniuses and engineers in the making, but I am most impressed by the creativity – taking objects meant for one purpose and combining them for a whole new purpose. Very impressive! Of course I am their Grandmother so I can brag. And you are the world's greatest Mom!

I think this is FAB! I love love it. I'd also like my turn. How much can that table hold? I'll bring my own giant bunny for a sled.

That is kind of awesome. At least you didn't let them hold scissors in their hands while jumping like I recently did… with photos of course.

Hey, I believe I won one of your giveaways!! I need to sort through my emails and I'll be in touch!

Haha! Love this. I think you're a cool mom for photographing them doing this. Because you're encouraging imagination and creativity. And everyone knows imaginative kids turn into geniuses.

Ha, I'm so with you. The other day, our baby was licking the plate glass window at a coffee shop. My mother's first thought was "Argh! Germs!" and mine was, "Ha, I wonder whether I can get outside to photograph that before she stops?"

You think just like I do…my kids do stuff like that and I'm like, "Hold on…lemme grab the camera" and they look at me in shock like, "you're not gonna yell at us??"

That's awesome!!! We totally slid down a spiral staircase on a crib mattress when I was little so maybe I'm not the best judge, but that looks like a blast!

Wow! Sometimes my 3 year old is on here when I am clicking through blogs and she would have immediately run to see if she could do that herself. My my would she have fun. And it would take her a LONG time. It might just be genius to allow her to try. Except that I am having my 3rd in a week and I think I need my two existing children out of casts and all that nonsense.

Looks fun though – I would so be in after a few glasses of wine!

I just found your blog trhough Scary Mommy and think it is great. I am now following and I am headed over the check out the design blog.

When we got our couch for the family room, I said, it must be "fortable" and the salesman looked at me like I was crazy. Boys need to be able to build forts and slides.
    Loooks like fun, weee!
